I draw inspiration from people around me, from an experience, from a past event, from a lost time. But also from places. Places through which emanates a certain sense of nostalgia, the weightlessness of a memory.

This video talks about the intimacy of a relationship, the revealing of fears of the future and the apprehension of the loss of the other. Speech is gradually released by gently revealing the body of the loved one. He is so close, but unattainable. From this video comes the desire to understand the emotions of the other, and to cross the barriers of the body to discover his thoughts.

This video brings together moments filmed in different cities in England. Everything takes place in the night, the half-light. We don’t know the time, we don’t know the place. We just know we’re floating, we’re wandering around this strange and unreal city.

A perambulation through the urban landscapes, under the beating of the rain; looking for a face, chasing the night. Voices are heard, subtle. I try to follow them, and get carried away by the rhythm of the music. I let myself be taken by these sound waves. Only a few moments. But it’s too late, the morning is already there.

With the video is presented a piece made of polyurethane foam. Voile d’un souvenir is a psychic representation of the memories raised in the video Jean. I imprison them using a tarpaulin as a borderland between the real world and that of memories, of the unconscious. This piece is an entrance to the worlds that I create in my work.

Presentation of volumes made of polyurethane foam and silicone. These pieces evolve according to time and heat, they take the shape of the support on which they are placed. A B O U T  M E

    My work talks about intimacy, in my family or friendly relationships. Interactions through bodies, the energies produced by these exchanges. I mainly practice portrait and fashion photography. I draw inspiration from people around me, from an experience, from a past event, from a lost time. But also from places. Places through which emanates a certain sense of nostalgia, the weightlessness of a memory.

A bathroom, a lake, a pier, a museum.

So many places that have hosted souls, conversations, bodies. This is also what I try to show in my images : a trace, an imprint of a past time that can never come back. I revive and capture moments that still resonate, in order to freeze something of the unspeakable and the invisible. From these moments of intimacy my reality is born, a sensitive world in which my own community is mixed. The people I photograph are often close. Friends with whom I have discussed a lot and taken the time to get to know. I am inspired by this confidence and this communication that is transmitted between individuals, to grasp attitudes and postures.

I sublime, hide and reveal bodies. These organisms are exchanged, they mix themselves. They belong to a same idea, a same group. United and independant, this group can sometimes touch the world of fashion in the manner of Viviane Sassen.

I was very touched by what the images of Wolfgang Tillmans emerge. He speaks of a «residue from a past experience», his work being like an emotional anchor by which the spectator can always identify himself through his own associations.His photopraphs testify to the inexorable flight of time and the fear of the imminent loss of a loved one (cf. Burg by Wolgang Tillmans, David Deitcher). The photographer preserves the events of the past, by cutting and freezing moments. He assigns to the objects a space and a time of their own.

My work is about memory and oblivion. It’s like a time distention, where I make several dimensions. An instability that we bring with our thoughts and feelings in our relationships. I too often attach myself to relationships that no longer exist, and to be sure that they did exist, I imprison their memories to keep track of them.

The text by Chris Marker in his length film Sans soleil particularly touches me: «Who said that time overcomes all wounds? It would be better to say that time overcomes everything, except injuries. With time the wound of separation loses its real edges; with time, the desired body will soon no longer be. And if the desiring body has already ceased to be for the other, what remains is a wound. A wound and without body ”.

Otherwise I participate in a microediting workshop; a workshop that allows me to make small projects, to work in a new economy. I create stories, romances by focusing on experiences lived in my different professions.
